ACF SECRETARY

My name is Bridget Orman and I have been a resident of the Adur/Worthing district for over 20 years.

I have been a member of the Adur Consultative Forum (ACF) right from its inception in 1997. I became interested due to my passion to make a difference, not only in my local area but in the whole district.

I took part in most of the training available, eager to learn and become part of a body of people, namely tenants and leaseholders, aiming for the same goals.

I built up my confidence and knowledge by being part of my local residents association helping to organise  events and meetings and encouraging other like minded residents to do the same.

As Chair of my local area residents association, this led me to become more active in the district wide group; I now hold the position of ACF Secretary.

Working alongside other like-minded people gives a sense of pride and passion in believing that, as residents and a collective body, we can make a difference in how and where we live.
